| Brief Details: | Is the budget disappearing down the drain? Do you suffer from duplication of effort? Is there an endless series of checks; pieces of paper passing through too many hands? Instead of ‘Just In Time’ are things ‘Just Too Late’? Then this workshop, offered by the Regional Support Centre of Wales and delivered by JISC infoNet, is for you. |
| Information: | If you are thinking of re-structuring, introducing change (perhaps by increasing e-Learning), or implementing a new information system then it is important that you understand what really happens in your organisation. Incremental changes over the years may have left processes no longer matching the needs of modern learners. Previous re-structures may have left responsibility and authority dangerously apart. Process Review is the term used when an organisation undertakes an analysis of what it does, how it does it and why, with a view to improvement in terms of benefits to clients and/or effectiveness. A Learner-Centered approach puts the learner at the heart of the review by focusing on the benefits to learners of each and every activity undertaken by the institution. |
| Target Audience: | The day is primarily aimed at senior and middle managers of cross-college and administrative functions in Further Education Colleges or Higher Education Institutions as well as all Skill Sector Organisations. |
